As we celebrate 35 glorious years, the Coral Jubilee, of our school, it is a moment to marvel at our journey, be vigilant about our present, and remain hopeful for a brighter future.
At the outset, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Sri. C. Ramakrishna, the Regional Director of DAV Institutions, South Zone, during the inception of this school. I also express my sincere appreciation to the succeeding Regional Officers—Smt. Seetha Kiran, Shri VNNK Seshadri, and the current Asst. Regional Officer, Smt. Ananadavalli—for their invaluable guidance and unwavering support in elevating this institution to its current stature.
Reflecting on our past humbles us, as it underscores the immense responsibility of upholding the legacy left behind. I salute the former Principals of this esteemed institution, whose dedication and perseverance have laid the strong foundation upon which we stand today.
Although our school is a project school, it has grown to serve not only the children of BDL Township but also those from neighbouring villages, ensuring inclusivity and equal opportunities for all.
We believe that every student possesses unique talents and immense potential. Our mission has always been to nurture these abilities and bring them to the forefront. Today, education transcends academic excellence—it encompasses a holistic development approach, integrating academics, sports, life skills, AI skills and fine arts. With values as our cornerstone, we strive to equip our students with all these dimensions of education.
Curricular and co-curricular activities form essential avenues for fostering life skills like communication, social interaction, and critical thinking. Through art, music, and dance, we aim to instil an aesthetic sensibility in our students.
Recognizing the vitality of a youthful and vibrant India, we emphasize physical fitness, encouraging our students to pursue their chosen disciplines diligently. To prepare them for the evolving educational landscape, we guide them to participate in competitive exams such as the Cyber Olympiad and Olympiads in Mathematics, English, and Science conducted by DAV CAE. Our students also consistently shine in the Geo Map Quiz and other intellectual pursuits.
As we celebrate our achievements, we remain committed to our goals for the future. My dedicated team of teachers and I understand the importance of innovation and progression. With the steadfast support of BDL management and the unwavering trust of parents, we are confident in our ability to transform our vision into reality.
